Resources for Waste Collectors & Local Authorities

The Department of Environment, Community and Local Government and Cré have co- funded the development of a national household brown bin education programme.

The national education programme consists of

  • a website (brownbin.ie);
  • cartoon on how to use the brown bin;
  • a set of Frequently asked questions
  • electronic designed standardised teaser leaflets on using the brown bin;
  • electronic designed standardised instruction leaflets on using the brown bin;
  • electronic designed standardised Kitchen Caddy Sticker;
  • electronic designed contamination tag; and
  • electronic designed pop up.

The electronically designed materials are freely available to waste collectors and local authorities to add their own branding and print them.
